If he can eat this, then he is ready for the real stuff!! If not, then you know that his tastebuds are already dead and there is no use going to Kaiseki!! The other stuff that I would highly recommend is any authentic chinese place that makes their own noodles (handmade) with shredded duck and spring onions served hot!! What section did you find it in? I also had an operation for a deviated septum, so it will be of some use to me.
