This is so unrelated to anything but wanted to ask if either of you guys used Sprint? I just activated a line of service and wanted to see if you wanted the $50 referral credit. Let me know if you do and I'll hook you up. :) And then feel free to delete this comment if you want.

Haven't listened for a while, but I will when I can get myself together.

Oh look at that. Tonight's 9.0.1 iTunes fix seems to address the multiple disc album issue you were talking about:

"Fixes a problem sorting albums with multiple discs. "

Eeesh. Yeah. I haven't commented in a while...Yeah. I was back using the PC again for a while. Then I found myself buying a Pre, swapping it for a Tour and then going back to Apple in KoP and begging for another 3GS...And let's not mention the Zune HD.

Re QuickTime X, let me take a stab in the dark and guess that they re-architected it for Grand Central and OpenCL and didn't have time to get all the features back into the product again. I wouldn't be surprised if down the road they didn't drop a QTX Pro and toss those features back in again. At least they're installing QT7 in Utilities instead of telling you to drag it over from an old machine. Wooo I just defended Apple! I'm back in the fold. :)

Re iTunes, I'm insane about organizing my library. Everything is ripped 256 AAC or purchased and perfectly tagged with at least 500x500 art. I'm a bit weird about wanting everything sorted cleanly into the correct folders, named properly/consistently, etc.

Re Windows 7...Yeah been using it for a few months now via a TechNet membership. Just heard you talking about it on the podcast. Yeah for the $350 the first year (there are $100 coupons off somewhere), it's well worth it for the 10 licenses of 7, Office 2007, etc. Plus it includes new products so when Office 2010 is released it'll just magically appear on the TechNet site for DL....and yes, it's stupid you have to resort to that because Windows licensing is so expensive.

I've had to support Vista and it was a nightmare. In comparison, I'm happy with Windows 7. It runs well on all the hardware I've put it on and I've had 0 issues with device drivers. It still doesn't give me the "joy" that my Mac does, but 7 feels like a solid OS release.

Eeesh that was a long long comment. Sorry about that.

PS: Peter if you're going to get back into gaming, join me on Champions Online on the PC. :P
