New listener, got here through the Nard’s podcast. I only started listening to the show with episode 273 but I’ve downloaded episodes 272-269 and I must say that I love the whole gomo concept of the show. And the humor too. It’s like a cross between TWiT and Btalk. I totally love that I learn a lot from your show. KUDOS!

I’m PJ, a low frequency gomo myself (meaning I’m sort of techie but not quite), 21 years old from the Philippines.

I totally agree with your thoughts about the MacBook Air. Though I was never one to be dazzled in Steve Jobs’ RDF, I still do want the Air as a secondary comnputer. The only setback I can see is that the battery isn’t replaceable.

- I think Peter sounds like Bert from Sesame Street (and that makes Pinoyboy Ernie, well at least the skin tones match)
- I think Pinoyboy and I sound alike, except that I don’t say “Meh” and “whatevs” a lot.

I think revolutionary is a marketing term not a tech term, for a non-tech person like myself. If you say that the liquid crystal screen is paper thin like what they’re developing in Japan, then I consider that revolutionary. Imagine a laptop that has a roll-in and roll-out screen instead?!

It’s more evolutionary – the LCD is a third party product? OK its semantics but as you say buy what you need and not what you want!

Imagine this situation…Apple sold you an iPhone and told you later ‘no rebate’ when they drop the price. How would you respond to that guys? It looks like everything is reactive rather than long-term…don’t you agree?

There is Bonjour for Windows (and comes with Safari 3 for Windows, but not the full version I believe)

I totally agree with the comments about the MacBook. I really want to get one but I really want a BlackBook. But I only need the lowest end. But I want a BlackBook. Oi, Why can’t Apple offer each model of the MacBook in White and Black.
