Great show! Keep the apps recommendations coming! BTW, I love "Confessions of a Call Girl".

When you compare your different gaming platforms, what do you game more on: iPod Touch, iPhone, Xbox 360, or your mac? Do you think you'll game on your iPad? I don't think I'll be on the train playing games with that thing. The PSP is enough for me.

As always, great show.

Peter you know you're going to get whatever iPhone Apple puts out!!! LOL We've been through this before.

Lonnnng comment time! And feel free to skim these if you read them on the podcast. I'm too chatty for my own good:

I'm fond of VMWare. I was running XP in Fusion w/ all the prerequisites needed to get on the corporate VPN. It made it great for work on the go, when needed. Sounds like they made some nice improvements so I'm looking forward to putting 7 on the latest Fusion...once new MacBook Pros come out...grrr.

Wooo the ribbon! Get used to it! I'm using the Office 2010 beta (for Windows) and the ribbon is now in Outlook. And yes, I got lost trying to figure out scheduling a conference room...And you'll be happy to hear the ribbon is coming to Office 2010 Mac.

BTW, thanks to reminding me about Cinch, PB! I love that feature in 7 and I'm looking forward to having it in Snow Leopard.

Meanwhile Peter and I are in sync again. Just as he was talking about the old hag in Snow White, I'm glancing at Etsy for the latest Mac decals and there's a full color Snow White holding the Apple....Oh. Gah! There's the Goatse one! Viiiiiile!

Heeeey! No hatin' on switchers. My first Mac was a 366 Indigo iBook. My coworkers in IT would abuse me for walking around with my purse-handled iBook. I went straight to a Titanium 400 when I saw how badly 10.0 performed on a G3.

Re your comments on Flash, two things. Firstly, I read an article yesterday about the OLED screens on the Nexus saying that its color reproduction isn't as good so there were shots of things looking smooth and well-colored on the iPhone that were blockier and more 16-bit looking on the Nexus. Also there was an article about Flash running on a Nexus One where 8 min of Flash playing 10.1 knocked the battery from 50% to 25%.

The thing you're looking for, I think, is Nvidia's Optimius technology. Tech out Leo on last week's This Week in Computer Hardware. They spend a fair bit of time in the beginning talking about it. It sounds interesting but it sounds like there'd have to be some hooks in OSX to determine when to turn it on/off without you realizing.

Okay I'm done. Now to heat up more tea and hide from the crappy rainy day outside my office. :)
