On episode 272 we talked about what we think will happen at MacWorld. Here are the predictions we made. We’ll update this page after MacWorld 2008 with how well we did, or didn’t do!

Q1: Will the iPhone see a hardware update?
Pinoyboy: Yes, 16GB, no mention of 3G at all.
Peter: Yes, there will be a 16GB added to the line up for USD100 more than the 8GB, no mention of 3G at all
Result: We were both wrong!

Q2: Will the iPhone SDK be released?
Pinoyboy: Yes, for immediate download the day of MWSF
Peter: Yes, for immediate download the day of MWSF

Q3: Will the iPhone SDK be used for more the the iPhone (i.e., iPod Touch, new mobile device)?
Pinoyboy: Yes
Peter: Yes

Q4: Will we see iPhone firmware update and will it be the one we saw on GearLive?
Pinoyboy: Yes but I hope it’s WAAAY more than what we’ve seen.
Peter: Yes, I just want to be able to move my icons around.
Both right, tho there were more features so PB was more right!

Q5: New iTunes?
Pinoyboy: Yes, for sure.
Peter: Yes, for sure.

Q6: Movie Rentals via iTunes?
Pinoyboy: Yes.
Peter: Yes.

Q7: Does the MacPro announcement last week means something big is coming?
Pinoyboy: No.
Peter: Yes.

Q8: Will there be a new MacBook/MacBook Pro?
Pinoyboy: No.
Peter: No.

Q9: Will there be a new portable device?
Pinoyboy: No.
Peter: Yes.

Q10: Will there be a new desktop device?
Pinoyboy: No.
Peter: No.

Q11: New Apple TV?
Pinoyboy: Yes with streaming and the ability to download from iTunes.
Peter: No, but if they do, I want a DVD player in and for it to be a Sling Catcher type of device.
