Hey Wonderful Gomos!

Sorry about my confusion on the “Prometheus” release date in the US. My IMDB App would have given me the correct date, but I guess I was looking at the international trailer or something. I was able to confirm it is being released on June 1st in Europe, as a fellow io9 commenter in Norway was posting about going to see it this weekend.

Regarding y’all’s discussion of iOS 6, the thing that I think would be good would be skinable themes for it. That way people who are tired of the way it looks could customize its appearance and sounds to suit them. These could be combinations of ringtones, wallpapers, icons and and colors. Maybe PB would want a Hello Kitty Theme? These themes might be made available via the App store. There could be free ones, and paid ones just like other Apps.

Hope Peter is enjoying his time down here in the Deep South. Remember to stay hydrated, it’s sweat season.

Hey my favorite GOMO’s!!!!

After being called out for not commenting any more by Peter… I just happen to be completely caught up with work and so decided to do so. Hope you all have been well and I love the new Tiger Mom tag PB! Chuti…. Oh dear sweet Chuti…. words can not express just how much this could be a rant about movies and your choices…. but I won’t go there…. and Peter… since we do intermittently chat online… stop worrying about the sound… you guys sound just fine as long as you continue to cast when you can!

Thank you for all of your due diligence in casting! I DO IN FACT still listen to all of them and enjoy every episode. My department seems to go through cycles of work and I think we just finished a very heavy cycle. That’s why I haven’t been able to comment. Not to mention that I’ve started seeing someone special so alot of the time I would have been spending doing things and entertaining myself with your casts out side of work has been taken up. Cross your fingers for me boys, going on 3 months now!

So enough about me. With regards to the frequency of the casts… I think I speak for everyone when I say we understand that you may not be able to cast at the volume you were before. Things change and life goes on. It just means for me now that I’m super excited when I see that download bar updating that you’ve casted again! Not that I don’t usually see it on Facebook first! LOL

NO sympathy for PETER! You travel for work… You knowingly signed up for this! So… just like you say to Chuti about sports… SUCK IT UP! hehehe Luv you Peter! (Wink) On the movies and such… YAY PB and movie talk! It’s refreshing to have all three of you talking about movies! Funny on the debates regarding what is IMAX and what isn’t… I don’t know what the “true” IMAX specs are but I have been to both types (the “dome” and the super close big screen) and honestly MOST movies don’t need to be on either of these screens.

I will not be listening or watching the WWDC either. Will just have to catch the news as it hits all the reporting sites. Blah blah blah on Apple TV interface… I’ll believe it when I see it. I’ll check out the interview too at some point. Sounds interesting. Siri updates and improvements would be very welcome! Speaking of which… did any of you notice that they stopped some of the more “raunchy” question responses that Siri use to answer? Like “Siri, I’m horny” used to bring up a response for her doing a search for escort services, she NOW replies “I don’t know what you mean by “Siri, I’m horny.” I agree with Peter on the iOS 6/New iPhone discussion. Yes to all the hardware announcements across the board. I think that’s very soon.

I don’t understand the sandboxing… and all of a sudden PB sounds like a GOD compared to Peter and Chuti…. ECHO city LOL I’m completely lost during this discussion so guess I’m really not a follower of the tech. I think the new map apps could be very cool but agree with Chuti… Until it’s live or demo’d it’d be hard to comment. I think that an overhaul would be great, however I don’t think that the looks gonna change too much. Additions and improved functionality because of all the things that we’ve been able to see and do with jailbroken updates are all very welcome! I agree on all things that Peter has suggested.

On the leaked parts… I like the taller look but agree that the back will either be completely Aluminum or Glass… but not bared like the image. The Dell ultrabook is a complete rip-off. That’s all I’m gonna say about that.
